2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball is basically the second installment of the year’s main Bowman trilogy. Largely a continuation of 2024 Bowman Baseball, the checklist is driven by three things: prospects, autographs and Refractors.
The base set has 100 cards. This is where collectors will not only find veterans but a lot of rookies. These are often an overlooked part of the product, though, as Bowman is connected more today with its prospects and those getting some of their earliest MLB cards.
To that end, there are another 100 Bowman Chrome Prospects cards. These carry on directly from where things left off in 2024 Bowman, making for a larger set.
Both the base cards and Chrome Prospects carry a similar design. All have a wide assortment of Refractors that parallel each card. These include several new “Reptilian” colors that have patterns around the border.
2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball has three different types of variations. For starters, 12 rookies from the base set have Image Variations with different photos. There are also 10 Rookie Color Run and 20 total Etched in Glass Variations that include both rookies and prospects.
Like all of the main Bowman sets, Chrome Prospect Autographs are the key to the entire checklist. For those getting their first such card, it instantly becomes one of their most important baseball cards, period. As a prospect evolves into a superstar, it’s their 1st Bowman Chrome Autograph that acts as the benchmark. This is a big reason why Bowman, Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft are, historically, among the most popular products each year.
Chrome Prospect Autographs also have a full rainbow including one-of-one Superfractors.
Other signed inserts on the 2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball checklist include Chrome Rookie Autographs, All America Game Autographs, limited Prime Choice Signatures, and Chrome Auto Relics.
Among the product’s inserts is a 1999 Bowman Chrome 25th Anniversary set. These take the woodgrain-inspired design and apply it to today’s players. Joining these are International Variations that tie in with the original set’s parallels that have city skylines in the background.
Two more legends join the ongoing Retrofractor lineup, Sandy Koufax and Lou Gehrig. The legendary Dodgers pitcher also has an autograph.
Other 2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball insert themes include It Came to the League, Bowman Ascensions, Gladiators of the Diamond, dual-player International Impact, My 1st Bowman and 2023 AFL Fall Stars. In addition to standard parallels, many of these also have autographs for some cards.

The base set consists of 200 cards. Among them are the previous year’s draft picks shown on some of their first minor league cards.
Parallels include:
Chrome versions return as well. These land every other hobby pack. Parallels here come in:
Some cards of top prospect have Image Variations that use different photos on the front. FoilFractors (1/1) are available for these as well.
While there are other signed inserts, Base Autographs are the most common. The design is largely the same with signatures coming on stickers. Additional versions include:
Chrome Autographs have their own Refractors (/99), Gold Mini-Diamond Refractors (/50, hobby only), Orange Lava Refractors (/25, jumbo only), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
The 2024 Topps Pro Debut Baseball checklist has a handful of other inserts. Complex League Rising Stars (1:6 packs) highlight some of the top names to watch who are just beginning their minor league journey.
Road to the Show (1:12 packs) flanks prospects with both their minor league park and their hopeful MLB home.
Using a comic book-inspired design is Heroes of the Diamond (1:12 packs).
There’s also the return of MiLB Legends (1:12 packs) that showcase some big names who have long since moved on from the minors.
All four of these sets have Green Foil (/99), Orange Foil (/25) and FoilFractor (1/1) parallels. Select cards for all buy Road to the Show also have numbered autographs.
For those wanting multiple signatures on a single card, there are Dual Autographs (/25) and Triple Autographs (/25). Both come with Red Foil (/10) and FoilFractor (1/1) versions.
Future Cornerstones Autographs target the moon. Aqua Foil (/75), Gold Foil (/50), Orange Foil (/25), Red Foil (/10) and FoilFractor (1/1) parallels exist as well.
Rounding things out are Fabrics of the Future Autograph Relics that also have Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and Black (1/1) versions.

Boasting a massive 700-card checklist, 2021 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary Baseball uses the classic 1952 Topps design enhanced with Chrome technology.
Between Hobby and Hobby Lite, there are multiple parallels in the rainbow. Several styles showcase the 70th-anniversary logo.
However, the parallel lineup was greatly reduced compared to what was originally solicited. While 33 parallels were initially announced, the Hobby and Hobby Lite odds only indicate a total of 14 parallels.
Hobby boxes offer a few exclusives and the Hobby Lite format is the only place to find Black & White Mini-Diamond (1:4 packs) parallels. There are also three exclusive Prism Refractors in Mega Boxes.
Topps later confirmed that this parallel reduction was due to supply chain issues.
Joining the extensive base lineup, 2021 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary Baseball also features Autograph cards.
These utilize a much smaller rainbow parallel, including exclusive Blue Prism Refractor (#/99) and Orange Refractor (#/25) parallels in Hobby, and exclusive Pink Refractor (#/15) parallels in Hobby Lite.

2024 Topps Pristine Baseball is a rare product defined most prominently by its configuration. But once you get into the packs, there’s a broad mix of chrome Refractors, autographs and bold inserts — kind of like a Topps Chrome and Finest hybrid only with very different packaging.
Rip open a pack and not only will you find cards but another pack. Rip open that pack and it’s more cards and yet another pack. Think nesting dolls. Think Alice falling down a rabbit hole. You’re not wrong.
Hobby boxes come with six packs (or 18 if you count all the packs within pack within packs). In those comes three total autographs, one of which also has a relic swatch. Boxes also have five inserts and 10 parallels.
The base set has 300 cards, which matches 2023. Pristine is a product that mixes current players, a lot of rookies and retired stars together. New this year is a 50-card All-Star Game subset that bookends the checklist.
Standard parallels include:
Also included are Pristine parallels that come with a pattern background:
The base set is also the launching point for Pristine Autographs, the main source of signatures in the product. Just over 80 players signed for these making for a deep list. Parallels are similar to the base Pristine versions.
On-card is a running theme on the 2024 Topps Pristine Baseball autographs checklist.
Standalone themes include Pristine Personal Endorsements and Pristine Pair Dual Autographs.
The one-per-box autographed relics come from Pristine Pieces, Popular Demand and scarce All-Star Game Pristine Pieces.
Inserts take advantage of the chromium stock, offering bright and colorful designs. As for the themes, some opt for fun over tradition.
Oh Snap!, Squeaky Clean (complete with a bubble bath-inspired design) and Swings of Summer are some of the brighter sets. Pristine Production takes a more typical baseball approach.
A handful of Pristine’s insert sets also have autograph versions.

The 100-card base set is one of the few places on the checklist to divert from the prospect focus. Veterans and rookies make up this part of the set.
There’s also the similar but separate Bowman Prospects. A total of 150 minor leaguers from a variety of levels are in the mix.
All Bowman base and Bowman Prospects cards have the following parallels:
The 150 Prospects also get the Bowman Chrome treatment within the same packs. There’s also the traditional rainbow:
On top of these are a couple of additional hobby exclusives. Atomic Refractors are approximately one per box. Select cards also have Prospector’s Special parallels. Numbered to 49, these are die-cut and have a background done to look like a gold nugget. The idea is to further highlight key prospects.
Like any of the three main Bowman lines (along with Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft), Chrome Prospect Autographs are a cornerstone in 2021 Bowman Baseball. In fact, they’ll be the driving force for many collectors. Once again, on-card signatures are a highlight alongside the simple fact that they’re connected to the Bowman Chrome brand.
Refractors? There are lots:
Chrome Rookie Autographs take a similar approach and design, only with players who have made their MLB debuts. The parallel lineup here is a little smaller: Refractors (/499), Blue Refractors (/150), Atomic Refractors (/100), Yellow Refractors (/75), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25, hobby-exclusive), Red Refractors (/5), Printing Plates (1/1), and Superfractors (1/1).
A couple of spots on the 2021 Bowman Baseball checklist have multi-signature cards: Dual Autographs (/25) and the 2021 Bowman Ultimate Autograph Book Card (/10).
Also in the product is a new batch of All-America Game Autographs (/199), which have some of the earliest signatures from featured prospects, and 1991 Bowman Buyback Autographs.
2021 Bowman Baseball has a fair number of additional insert sets and themes to help round out the release. Some are returning themes, some are new. No matter the case, they all offer different ways to looking at up-and-coming players.
Bowman Scouts’ Top 100 (1:4 hobby packs) counts down the year’s best prospects. ROY Favorite (1:8) highlight potential MLB award winners by season’s end. The ranking idea is also in new Positional Promise (1:24) inserts, offering up a top NL and AL prospect for each spot on the field.
Also new is Futurist (1:6), which use a colorful design as its anchor.
Talent Pipeline (1:12) returns, looking at key players from each minor league level for each MLB franchise.
1991 Bowman (1:8) uses the design from the year Chipper Jones and Jim Thome had Rookie Cards. However, this time around, current players are used for the retro-leaning insert.
Each of these insert sets also have Atomic Refractor (/150), Gold Refractor (/50), Orange Refractor (/25, hobby only), Red Refractor (/5) and Superfractor (1/1) parallels. Select cards from Bowman Scouts’ Top 100, Positional Promise, ROY Favorites and 1991 Bowman also have tough autographs and further Refractor parallels.

The main 2024 Topps Chrome Baseball set has 300 cards. This is way up from the 220 it has been for the past couple of years and an even bigger jump from the 200 in 2020. Rookies get a significant part of the spotlight, accounting for more than a third of the checklist. These include early-season debuts like Jackson Holliday, Jackson Chourio and Wyatt Langford.
Collectors can expect a lot of Refractors covering all of the base set. That said, specifics have not yet been announced.
First-year players don’t just make their presence known in the main set. Rookie Autographs are by far the largest portion of the signatures on the 2024 Topps Chrome Baseball checklist. More than 150 players signed for this part of the product.
Some of the other standalone signature themes include Future Stars Autographs, On the Spot Die-Cut Autographs and Dual Autographs.
Seamheads Signatures branch out into media with the likes Buster Olney, Ken Rosenthal and more.
Memorabilia may not be a central focus in 2024 Topps Chrome Baseball, but there’s still some on the checklist. Topps Chrome Authentics return with both unsigned and signed versions.
If you bought any 2024 Topps Series 1 or Series 2 Baseball, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that 1989 Topps Baseball inserts make their way into Chrome. In addition to their regular inserts and potential parallels, there are new Chrome Layer Variations. Exactly what these entail have not yet been disclosed.
Returning themes include Future Stars, Youthquake, Ultraviolet All-Stars, and tough Radiating Rookies, Let’s Go and Exposé.
Fanatical is one of the new additions to the 2024 Topps Chrome Baseball checklist. You can draw your own conclusion if it’s a branding thing for Topps’ parent company, Fanatics.
Chrome All Etch, All Etch Rookie Rush, Summertime in the Park, Strokes and Helix and among the other available inserts.
For those hoping for a fresh batch of Tacofractors, it appears as though they may be one-and-done. That said it is possible that Topps could be leaving them as a surprise, keeping them off of the list of announced cards.
For the third year in a row, Topps Chrome is home to the MVP Buyback Program. Base cards and parallels for the eventual National League and American League MVPs will be eligible for generous trade credit at participating stores.
Some of last year’s Shohei Ohtani and Ronald Acuña Jr. cards are included in 2024 Topps Chrome packs with special stamps. Acuña also has a limited number of autographs.

The base set is a modest 100 cards. It’s a mix of veterans, 2021 rookies and prospects. For more than a decade, typically the prospects are separated into their own grouping that’s numbered separately. For whatever reason, that didn’t happen here. As a result, for those who go by traditional definitions, there are a lot of Rookie Cards in this set including some players who were just drafted. Because they meet the criteria that Beckett has had in place for decades, these qualify for the RC tag.
One of the things that sets Bowman’s Best apart from the main Bowman line is its designs. Rather than standard photo backgrounds, here it’s much more abstract and bright.
But this is a chromium Bowman product so there are plenty of parallels. Basic Refractors are one per pack. Additional colors include:
The three types of Lava Refractors are making their Bowman’s Best debut.
2021 Bowman’s Best Baseball hobby boxes are packaged as two six-pack mini boxes. In each mini box is two autographs (four total per master hobby box).
Best of 2021 Autographs lead the signatures in 2021 Bowman’s Best Baseball. Historically, this is one of the few places where collectors will find ink from current players and prospects on the same specific part of a checklist.
The design is different from the base set, but it still has a comparable rainbow:
Dual Autographs (/25) have a pair of signers. Atomic Refractors (/10) and Superfractors (1/1) are the lone parallels here.
Inserts keep with the theme of bold designs.
Bowman Future Vibrance is the most common at 1:3 packs. These combine colors, lines and a celestial backdrop to further showcase promising prospects. Atomic Refractor, Lava Refractor (/50) and Superfractor (1/1) versions are available. Select cards also have autographs that have their own Lava Refractors (/50), Atomic Refractors (/25) and Superfractors (1/1).
Heat Wave Die-Cuts (1:6 packs) have the look of something melted. Atomic Refractors, Lava Refractors (/50) and Superfractors (1/1) are also available here. So are autographs, which come numbered and bring additional Lava Refractors (/50), Atomic Refractors (/25) and Superfractors (1/1).
Rookie Craftsmanship (1:8 packs) takes a puzzle theme with first-year players. Atomic Refractors, Lava Refractors (/50) and Superfractors (1/1) make up the basic parallels. Autographs come numbered to 99 and have Superfractors (1/1) as well.
Finally, there’s Bowman Masterpieces (1:18 packs), which take a page from ’60s pop art. Atomic Refractors aren’t numbered but they’re tough pulls at every other case. Lava Refractors (/50) and Superfractors (1/1) are also on the checklist. For certain cards, there are also Autographs (/99) and Autograph Superfractors (1/1).

2 TEAMS BOWMAN MEGA!
The Chrome Mega set has 100 total cards, 50 from the 2024 Bowman base set and 50 Prospects from the same release. Like all of the exclusive Mega Box cards, the backgrounds use a tiled geometric pattern.
Additional parallels include:
Some cards also get Image Variations with different photos on the front. Already tough to begin with, the only parallels for these are Black Mega Refractors (1/1). Some also have autographs that are limited to 25 copies.
Chrome Prospect Mega Autographs make up the majority of the product’s signature content. The rainbow for these consists of Purple Mega Refractors (/199), Blue Mega Refractors (/150), Green Mega Refractors (/99), Orange Mega Refractors (/25) and Black Mega Refractors (1/1).
Rookies Mega Autographs (/99) put the signature spotlight on players who have already made their MLB debuts. Orange (/25) and Black Mega Refractors (1/1) are also available.
A pair of 2024 Bowman Baseball insert sets get the Mega treatment, Prospect Power-Up and Rookie of the Year Favorites. Both have the same parallel assortment:

EVERY PACK RIP HAS A CHANCE AT AN AUTOGRAPH HIT COMING OUT!!
WE COMBINE THE NEXT BOX INTO THE OLD ONE AND WE DO THE SILVER PACK RANDOM AFTER EVERY 20 PACKS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IS FOUND IN A BOX.
Like the first release, the core of Series 2 is its base set. Consisting of another 350 cards, it brings the total 2024 Topps Baseball checklist up to 700 cards. This time around, collectors will find star players not in Series 1 and others in new uniforms. It adds more breadth and has rookies as well, although it’s not yet known whether early-season debuts will be in the base set.
Other subsets include more Future Stars and League Leaders.
Parallels include:
Blasters are back with a handful of summer-themed parallels that combine to land three per box. Among these are:
Golden Mirror Image Variations continue as well. These give all 350 base cards SSP versions with different photos on the front.
Four rookies also have Short Print Variations, giving them their first official flagship Topps cards. On top of this, Jackson Holliday has several additional variations that are an homage to the 1989 Fleer Bill Ripken and its many versions.
Inserts are where collectors will find the biggest mix of new and continuing content.
1989 Topps Baseball is joined by a similar but separate 1989 Topps Baseball All-Stars set. Both have similar Blue, Black (/299), Gold (/50), Red (/10) and Platinum (1/1) parallel lineups.
Also returning are Significant Statistics and some of 2024 Topps Baseball’s tougher inserts: Homefield Advantage, Legendary Home Field Advantage and Heavy Lumber, which are done on wood material and limited to 500 copies each. Social Media Follow Backs Redemptions, hobby-only sketch cards and Platinum Performers are among the other rarities on the 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball checklist.
Around the Horn, City to City, Covering the Field and Fantasy Favorites all make their debut. Celebrities return to Topps Baseball with First Pitch/Play Ball. Similar inserts appeared in 2016 and 2017 flagship sets. Each of these has Blue, Black (/299), Gold (/50), Red (/10) and Platinum (1/1) versions as well.
40/70, which commemorates Ronald Acuña Jr’s historic 2023 campaign, is exclusive to hobby packs. The only parallels for these short prints are Gold (/50), Red (/10) and Platinum (1/1).
2023 Silver Slugger Award Winners represent the manufactured relics in the product. Black (/299), Gold (/75), Red (/10) and Platinum (1/1) parallels are also included. Some have autographs as well numbered to 25 or fewer.
All three of the Mega Box sets have similar Purple Foil (/75), Gold Foil (/50), Orange Foil (/25), Red Foil (/5) and Black Foil (1/1) parallels.
Baseball Stars Autographs return as one of the key places to find signatures. These have a handful of parallels numbered to 99 or less. They’re joined by Baseball Stars Dual Autographs (/10) and new Baseball Stars Triple Autographs (/5).
Other multi-player sets include Dynamic Dual Autographs (/10) and Signature Tune Dual Autographs (/25).
1989 Topps Baseball Autographs and their companion All-Stars Autographs feature on-card signatures and a list of veteran, rookie and retired players.
40/70 Autographs (/10), City to City Autographs (/99), Cut Signatures (1/1), First Pitch/Play Ball Autographs (/99 or less), Heavy Lumber Autograph Relics (/10), and Major League Material Autographs (/50 or less) are among the other signed sets in 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball.
1989 Topps Baseball continues to find its way onto the checklist with relics. These have Black (/199), Gold (/50 or less), Red (/10 or less) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.
Major League Materials continues to take an all-encompassing approach to memorabilia and players.
City Connect Swatch Collection has pieces taken from game-used City Connect uniforms while Rounding the Bases Relics are another retail-exclusive.
In the Name Relics take full letters from the backs of jerseys. These are only in hobby and jumbo packs.

2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball draws its design inspiration more from the world’s natural wonder — the branch. Don’t worry, though, there’s plenty of Allen & Ginter strangeness to go along with it including ducks, exotic fruit and sandwiches. Of course, baseball remains the primary focus of the checklist.
Configuration wise, not much has changed. Autographs, memorabilia cards, rip cards and buybacks continue to land three per hobby box. Minis remain one per pack.
While the layout and design are a little different this time around, the makeup of the base set hasn’t changed. It has 350 total cards, 50 of which are short prints.
Yes, there are lots of baseball players. But like all previous Topps Allen & Ginter sets, it’s not exclusively baseball. Celebrities and other figures and icons also appear. For those who like strictly baseball, this might not be their thing. However, for those who like something different and a more cultural approach, few products exist like this.
All have one-of-one Glossy parallels. Silver Portrait versions are back as hot box exclusives.
Several more parallel levels are available in a mini format, throwing it back to Allen & Ginter’s tobacco origins more than 120 years ago. Besides basic Minis, hobby packs have:
One-of-one Mini Printing Plates are also available, although these come framed so they’ll appear as full-sized cards in packs.
A limited list of 150 players also get Metal Mini (three copies each), Stained Glass Mini (25 copies each) and Framed Mini Cloth (/10, hobby-only) versions.
Most of the signatures in 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball come in the form of Framed Mini Autographs. All have on-card ink. Parallels include Black Frame (/25) and hobby-only Red Ink.
Autograph Relic Book Cards and Dual Autograph Relic Book Cards are numbered to just 10.
Cut Signatures are all one-of-ones and come from baseball and beyond.
Standard memorabilia cards have three different spins. First are Mini Relics. These have a swatch embedded in a small card that is then framed. Two different Full-Sized Relics designs take a more traditional approach. This is where collectors will find relics from some of the set’s pop culture subject as well.
Hobby-exclusive DNA Relics return. Numbered to 25 and under, these have fossils.
Allen & Ginter Framed Originals have tobacco cards inside a traditionally sized frame. Each individual card is numbered as a one-of-one.
If you really want to see Allen & Ginter’s variety and quirkiness, look to the standard inserts. Like the rest of the set, they include a mix of baseball and non-baseball themes. There’s also some variety in dimensions with standard-sized and mini sets.
Among the full-sized inserts is Pitching a Gem. Each showcases a pitcher and puts their birthstone in the background. If you’re thinking there’s a natural fit for relics, they’re on the checklist as well.
Banners Seasons highlights players when they’re at their best, winning awards or championships.
Famous Rivals appropriately feature two subjects while It’s Your Special Day looks at ‘days’ that make their way around social media (and onto Garbage Pail Kids cards).
For those who like food, 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball has a couple of options. Get That Bread is all about sandwiches and other meat and bread pairings.
Each What’s Cooking? card has a different ingredient. A complete set doubles as a recipe.
Six other inserts come in mini form.
Time Out! highlights games that were delayed or cancelled for strange reasons. Don’t expect any references to the 2022 lockout, though.
Baseball Lexicon Minis take sayings from the sport and interpret them more literally.
What a Steal! and Inside the Park both sound like they could be baseball inserts but they’re not. What a Steal! looks at things people have tried to swipe throughout history while Inside the Park is about U.S. National Parks.
Ducks and Bearing Fruit round out the mini inserts.
Rip Cards didn’t originate in Allen & Ginter but they’re definitely synonymous with the brand. Combining to land two per 12-box hobby case, these have a smaller card hidden inside the main one. The temptation here is whether to tear open and damage the outer card in hopes of finding something better or more elusive inside.
2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Rip Cards are found in two main forms in packs, both of which are sequentially numbered. Standard Rip Cards have one mini card inside. Hobby-exclusive Dual Rip Cards have players on both sides of the outer card. Inside are two minis.
As for potential mini cards inside of Rip Cards, there are a few things. Mini Exclusives expand the checklist to 400 cards with 50 additional variations not available anywhere else. These have Metal (/3) and Wood (1/1) parallels.
Artist Originals are all one-of-a-kind miniature pieces of artwork.
Every 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter hobby box has an oversized box topper card. Allen & Ginter Boxloaders and N43 Boxloaders feature MLB players. For select cards in both, autograph versions numbered to 15 can also be found.
Inside the Park Boxloaders blow up the mini inserts. Each of these has 500 copies.
Select hobby boxes also have Boxloader Rip Cards that have three minis, one of which is an exclusive Stained Glass Mini Variation.

Making its return to stores in NOVEMBER 2021, Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball delivers even more of what collectors love.
Find more parallels to chase, more autographs to hunt for, and more insert sets to collect!
Each box will contain:
- 6 Base Card Refractors
- 18 Mini Base Cards
- 7 Insert Cards
On-Card Autographs found 1 per case!
The base set has 300 cards. There’s the usual mix of veterans and rookies. But what would Allen & Ginter be without its non-baseball inclusions? Collectors can expect athletes and other pop culture additions as well. This is one of the brand’s trademark pieces so if you’re wanting only baseball, you might be disappointed. But for those who don’t mind and like some variety, there’s likely to be some more delightful finds.
It’s Chrome so there are Refractors. Several of them, in fact:
The parallels don’t stop there. There’s also Mini parallels, which combine to land one per pack. Additional colors for these come in Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Autographs are in the product, but they’re tough landing just one per 12-box hobby case. Rather than the framed mini autograph format found in the regular Allen & Ginter line, these are full-sized cards. Signatures are on-card.
Autograph parallels includes Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Not a lot of inserts are on the 2021 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball checklist. World Leaders and World’s Largest, both of which are in the regular 2021 A&G set, get a Chrome makeover.
There’s also Rookie Design Variations that look to past Allen & Ginter designs.

2023 Topps Holiday Baseball takes the Boys of Summer to a winter wonderland. The set see the return of the traditional festive twist on the year’s flagship release.
The main set has 200 cards. The look and layout is very close to 2023 Topps Baseball, only with some holiday season accents and additions. Base cards include Metallic Holiday parallels, which land every other pack. Red Metallic Holiday (/99) and Golden Metallic Holiday (1/1) versions are also available.
Three levels of variations can be found including Rare and Super Rare SSPs. Over the past couple of years, these have emerged as the standout content of the release, adding elements like Christmas lights, sledding players and sneaky Santas lurking in the background.
Every 10-pack Mega Box includes one autographed or memorabilia card. Besides the usual relics, there are also cards with player-worn Santa caps.
Oversized Die-Cut ornaments are back as well, acting as a box topper.

Heritage is traditionally a favorite for collectors who like to build sets. It taps into the origins of the hobby before hits and other chase cards. To that end, the 500-card checklist is one of the bigger ones of the year when it comes to a single release. Besides regular player cards, there are subsets for MVPs, League Leaders and more. The design is based on 1975 Topps Baseball.
As has been the case for the past several years, the base set includes 100 short prints (1:3 packs). This is where one of the big changes comes in as the SPs move from the end of the checklist to the start. For those simply wanting to build a shell set of the 400 main cards, that now means going from #101-500 (replacing #407, a stray short print, with #82, not an SP). From a set building perspective, that gap at the front a lot different and harder to ignore than when they land at the end.
2002 Topps Traded and 2002 Fleer Tradition Baseball are a couple of modern products that have taken this approach.
Among the parallels are Red Border cards, which are exclusive to Target giant boxes. Flip Stock return as hobby exclusives. These reverse the side of the sheet the cards are printed on. As a result, the fronts on these feel rougher and backs have more of a glossy finish. Needless to say, they’re not the easiest cards to spot.
The 2024 Topps Heritage Baseball checklist has several variation themes that change base cards in various ways. These include Black and White Images, Color Swap, White Border, Nicknames and the historically popular Throwback Uniforms. Image, Black Border, Error and Missing Facsimile Signature Variations are also on the checklist and are exclusive to hobby.
Select cards also have Chrome versions (/999), giving them a distinctly modern twist. These have their own mix of parallels:
Over the years, Heritage has developed a strong following for its hits. That said, the product doesn’t take a quantity approach to what’s promised in every box. Autographs are actually fairly tough with plain jersey swatches showing up a lot more frequently.
Real One Autographs anchor the signatures. These combine a multi-generational checklist, the 1975 design and on-card signatures. Red Ink Special Edition parallels are numbered to 75.
Real One Dual (/25) and Triple Autographs (/5) are only available in hobby packs.
New to 2024 Topps Heritage Baseball are 1975 Topps Award Winner Buyback Autographs. Signers on these came up big in the mid ’70s. Original Topps cards are used for these.
Also using players from 1975 are Flashback Autograph Relics (/25 or less).
1975 Baseball Cut Signatures and 1975 Celebrity Cut Signatures are all one-of-ones.
Memorabilia cards continue to be anchored by Clubhouse Collection. Standard versions have Gold parallels numbered to 99 and under. There are also Dual (/75), Triple (/25) and Quad (/10) Clubhouse Collection cards with the equivalent number of players. Autographed Relics top ut at 25 copies.
Stamps replace tradition gear in 1975 U.S. Postage Stamp Relics (/50).
The nods to 1975 don’t end with the base set. In fact, that’s just the start. Whether it’s designs or themes, inserts head back five decades as well.
Baseball Flashbacks and News Flashbacks both return, looking at what happened on and off the field that year.
Then and Now compare current players with stars with similar stats from the time that Jaws was taking a blockbuster bite out of the box office.
Another year, there’s another installment of New Age Performers as well.
Oversized 1975 Topps Baseball blow up select 2024 Heritage base cards. Some of these also have scarce autograph versions.
A couple of retail-exclusive insert sets dive deep into 1975 from a trading card perspective but not necessarily baseball. 1975 Topps Baseball Sensations uses the company’s 1975 Bay City Rollers design to spotlight current and retired players. Gold Foilboard versions are only in Walmart packs while Platinum Foilboard are Target exclusives. In both instances, cards are limited to 999 copies each.
Literal interpretations of mascots and nicknames are the focus of 1975 Topps Zoo’s Who Stick-Ons. The inspiration set was all about animals and wildlife. Like Baseball Sensations, there are Walmart (Blue) and Target (Red) exclusives with print runs of 999.
1975 Topps in 3D is a third retail-only insert set.
Hobby boxes continue to offer box loaders. This year they come in two general forms. 1975 Topps Originals are vintage cards that have a stamp added to them.

The base set bypasses veterans and sticks exclusively to rookies and prospects, each with 50 cards.
Parallels are available in 10 levels, all with serial numbers:
Prospect and Rookie Autographs repurpose the base design for much of the product’s signatures. Although the mix is different, the number of parallels carries some substance:
Sterling Signage Autographs use theatre marquees as their inspiration. This is one of the few places on the checklist to include veterans. That said, rookies and prospects are also part of the set. Base versions come numbered. Black Atomic Refractors (/50), Rose Gold Refractors (/5), Canary Diamond Refractors (/3), Red Refractors (1/1) and Superfractors (1/1) are also available.
Dual Autographs (/25) and Triple Autographs (/25) offer up multiple signatures.
Sterling Tek (/99) draws its inspiration from Topps Tek and its intricate foil highlights. Parallels include Gold (/50), Blue (/25), Rose Gold (/15), Aqua (/10), Red (/5) and Black (1/1). Select cards also have autographs and their own lineup of parallels.

Nostalgia is the word in 2019 Topps Archives Baseball. The set celebrates eras of both the game and baseball cards. Basically, if you’ve collected at any point in the past 60 years, some pangs of the past are likely to follow.
Hobby boxes continue to come with two autographs.
The base set has 300 cards. It’s broken down into three sections, each with its own design inspiration. This time around, it’s 1958, 1975 and 1993 Topps Baseball.
Parallels include Purple (/175), Silver (/99), hobby-only Blue (/25) and Gold Foilboard (1/1).
Three subsets bookend the 2019 Topps Archives Baseball checklist, each rooted in one of the base set inspirations. 1958 Sport Magazine All-Stars offer another look at top players. 1975 Topps Highlights that spotlight some of the game’s biggest moments. 1993 Topps Rookies recycle the 1993 Draft Picks design most recognizable today on Derek Jeter’s flagship RC.
Additional variations are also part of the checklist, although specifics on these have not been revealed.
The nostalgia doesn’t end with the base set. Inserts delve further into familiar designs. However, they tap into some other areas of the game and hobby as well.
Jumping back 25 years are 1994 Topps Future Stars. The checklist here highlights current young players as well as some who were young back when this design made its debut. Autograph versions for these are all numbered including Blue (/25), Red (/10) and Gold (1/1) parallels.
1975 Topps Mini, which the card maker states as being “limited,” are available for 100 players.
Topps Magazine makes a comeback in 2019 Topps Archives Baseball. However, it’s not as a publication. Rather, cover designs and layouts from 1994 are being used to create a new line of inserts. Topps Magazine Autographs are a case hit. These have on-card signatures as well as Blue (/25) and Gold (1/1) parallels.
Ichiro Retrospective looks back on the cardboard career of the recently retired star. These are similar to the Derek Jeter inserts in 2017 Topps Archives. Foil parallels come in Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Red (/10) and Black (1/1). Select cards are short prints. Not only are these tougher to pull but they don’t have Blue parallels. Autographs (/5, Black Foil – 1/1) are also available.
2019 Topps Archives Baseball has a second tribute set. 50th Anniversary of the Montreal Expos looks back on the franchise and its top players. Parallels are Blue Foil (/150), Green Foil (/99), Gold Foil (/50), Red Foil (/10) and Black Foil (1/1). On-card autographs are also part of the Expos insert lineup as well as four levels of autograph parallels that have 99 copies or less.
Fan Favorites Autographs are once again the main place to find signatures in Topps Archives. Using past designs, the checklist is a mix of retired and active players. As usual with this line, collectors can expect several players who might not carry ‘legend’ status (although, there should be some) but left their mark either for a short time or locally with their home markets.
Parallels for Fan Favorites Autographs include Purple (/150), Silver (/99), Blue (/25) and Gold (1/1).
1978 Record Breaker Autographs are new to 2019 Topps Archives Baseball. Base versions have 25 copies each while additional parallels are Red (/10) and Gold (1/1).
Topps Originals Autographs (/10) are buyback cards with new signatures. Dates for these cards go back to the 1950s and run through the 1990s.
